We use the key worker approach to ensure that we interact with parents daily and keep them up to date with the latest news and activities on a regular basis.

Sunshine pre school is a small nursery, a real home from home in the town of Herne Bay, at the heart of our community offering us the opportunity to visit the local shops, the library, the park, our community garden and our beautiful beaches.
Our nursery vision
Our nursery vision creates a safe, secure and happy fun packed Environment. We strive for a warm and welcoming nursery that feels like home. Our children are loved, cared for and nurtured. We encourage children to explore and to investigate their surroundings both indoors and outdoors. We aim to encourage self-confidence and self-resilience through play and daily routines. Independence is promoted throughout the nursery in preparation for school.
We believe partnership with parents and other key workers is essential for our children’s wellbeing. The key person approach provides a sense of security for our children and their families.
Opening Times
At Sunshine pre school we are a term time only nursery, but we do have a wrap around service for 3 to 11 year olds operating breakfast, after school and holiday club (working closely with school holidays)

Free spaces for both 15 hours and 30 hours (subject to ratios) are available within our nursery timetable. Please ask for further details.
Every single child aged 3 & 4 is eligible for 15 hours funded childcare for 38 weeks per year. You may be eligible for 30 hours of free childcare if your circumstances allow it. To check your eligibility go to childcare choices website https://www.childcarechoices.gov.uk/

How to enrol
To attend Sunshine Pre School please download a terms and conditions or request one from our setting. Once complete please return it to us with your £30 fully non-refundable administrative fee.
We will then contact you complete the registration process. You are welcome to book a visit to come to the nursery to give you an opportunity to see the activities and daily routines.
Our team are very well qualified and experienced in children with special educational needs. Please call in and speak to a manager for further information.
